Hi There,
My husband and I adopted a puppy from one of your foster homes on March 25, 2005. He's a sharpei chow mix...maybe. He was about 2 months at the time and a real handful. We named him Scrappy because of his fighting attitude! Ever since the beginning he's been a handful. We've had him in puppy class ever since. Thanks to his mix of breeds he is quit aggressive towards new comers, but is the sweetest guy once he gets to know you. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that despite the handful he has been, I wouldn't trade him in for anything. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to give him the chance that I know not many people would. Others ask me how I can have the patience to put up with him, but I can't imagine a day without him. Since his adoption, we've been stationed in California. I just want you to know that I think you have a great organization and it does a lot of good for not only the animals, but potential owners as well. My husband and I looked for a long time for the perfect dog. Despite the chaos he brings, I know we made the right decision. I use to work at an animal hospital and have recommended you to many clients, and hope to adopt from you another time, once we've come back to Illinois. Thanks again and keep up the great efforts!
